This five-day detailed course will focus on Industrial Power Systems, Motor Types and Selection, and Industrial Controls. This course is designed for process control engineers, power and control engineers, plant electrical engineers, higher level electrical and instrument technicians, maintenance managers and electrical superintendents, and design and consulting engineers involved in plant electrical systems.

The first three days of classes will focus on Industrial Power Systems. Topics discussed will be:

Throughout the training, there will be class exercises, documentation and drawing reviews, and real-world examples in the major subject areas.

 

Our instructor for this workshop is Ken Hollingshead. Ken has over 20 years electrical engineering experience in the pulp and paper and power industries, including considerable in-plant experience with Procter and Gamble and Weyerhaeuser. He has served as Maintenance Manager, Project Engineer and Plant Electrical Engineer with major pulp and paper mills and now serves as electrical engineer at Process Control Solutions.
